SATEC HACS (High Accuracy Current Sensors) are split-core CTs with 40 mA secondary output for use with SATEC HACS-version meters. Available from 100A to 3,000A. No load disconnection required for installation. Class 0.5 / Class 0.2S accuracy. RS5 variant available for 5A retrofit.
SATEC HACS – High Accuracy Split-Core Current Sensors
SATEC HACS (High Accuracy Current Sensors) are split-core current transformers engineered specifically for use with SATEC's HACS-version meters (BFM-II, PRO Series, PM17x PRO, PM180, and others). Their 40 mA secondary output enables high-accuracy current measurement without the safety risks and installation challenges associated with traditional 5A secondary CT circuits.
The split-core design means the sensor can be installed on energized conductors without interrupting the load – a critical advantage for retrofit projects in live environments.
