2. Delivery Terms
2.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the default delivery term for all orders is EXW (Ex Works, Miami, Florida, United States) per Incoterms 2020. Title and risk of loss pass to Buyer upon tender to the first carrier at ECT's designated shipping point.
2.2 For international orders, DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) or other Incoterms may be available upon request and written agreement. Additional charges apply.
3. Shipping Methods and Carriers
ECT ships via major commercial carriers including USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight carriers. The shipping method available for your order will depend on product dimensions, weight, destination, and urgency. Available options will be displayed at checkout or quoted separately for large or freight shipments.
4. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
4.1 Domestic (U.S.) orders: Estimated transit time of two (2) to seven (7) business days after shipment, depending on carrier service level selected.
4.2 International orders: Estimated transit time varies significantly by destination, typically seven (7) to twenty-one (21) business days, and may be subject to delays at customs.
4.3 All delivery dates and timeframes are estimates only. ECT does not guarantee delivery by a specific date and is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, weather, force majeure, or other events beyond our control.
4.4 Products sourced from international Manufacturers may have extended lead times. Estimated lead times will be communicated at the time of Order Confirmation.
5. Shipping Costs
5.1 Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination, weight, dimensions, and selected service level, or are quoted separately for freight and oversized shipments.
5.2 Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, insurance, customs duties, import taxes, and other charges associated with delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.3 ECT reserves the right to select the carrier and shipping method if not specified by Buyer.
6. Tracking
Tracking information will be provided to the email address on file once the shipment is dispatched. Please allow up to twenty-four (24) hours after shipment for tracking information to become available in the carrier's system.
7. International Shipping and Customs
7.1 International shipments may be subject to customs inspection, import duties, taxes, and customs clearance delays. Buyer is solely responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs fees, and compliance with all import regulations of the destination country.
7.2 All international orders are subject to export control review. ECT reserves the right to delay or cancel orders pending export compliance review or if export authorization cannot be obtained.
7.3 Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the products ordered are permitted for import into the destination country and for obtaining any required import licenses or permits.
8. Freight and Oversized Shipments
Products that are large, heavy, or classified as hazardous materials will be shipped via freight carriers. Freight shipments require Buyer to arrange unloading at the delivery point. Liftgate service, inside delivery, and other special handling are available at additional cost and must be requested at the time of order.
9. Partial Shipments
ECT may ship an order in multiple partial shipments if all ordered items are not available at the same time. Each partial shipment may be invoiced separately.
10. Delivery Address Accuracy
Buyer is solely responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery address information. ECT is not liable for non-delivery, delays, or additional costs resulting from inaccurate or incomplete address information provided by Buyer. Address correction charges imposed by carriers will be billed to Buyer.
