AAF AmerKool M81 Gas Turbine Demister Coalescing Pad 25" x 25" x 3" – Moisture / Mist Eliminator

The AAF AmerKool M81 demister coalescing pad is a heavy-duty, highly efficient mist eliminator designed for gas turbine air intake systems already equipped with metal holding frames or AAF RenuFilter retaining frames. This 25" x 25" x 3" (635 x 635 x 75mm) pad is built from a 75mm (3 inch) thick blanket of continuous filament glass fibers treated with a water-resistant binder applied during the glass-spinning process, letting the media retain its thickness and resiliency even when fully saturated.

The M81 uses a two-stage density construction — an open weave on the air-entering side and a tighter weave on the air-leaving side — which uses the full depth of the pad to maximize water-holding capacity. It is typically installed behind a weatherhood for moderate moisture conditions or behind a 2.5-pass weather louver for heavy moisture conditions such as coastal fog, frequent rain, or air-washer discharge, and operates at low pressure drop for long service life.
