Cylindrical Cartridge MERV 15 / F9

AAF DuraShield SN is a high-efficiency synthetic cartridge filter engineered to protect gas turbines with sustained F9 (MERV 15) initial efficiency. It is supplied as a single standalone cylindrical element, Ø324mm outer diameter (approx. 12.75″) and 660mm in length (approx. 26″), for housing positions that take a single cartridge rather than a conical/cylindrical set or paired configuration.

The DuraShield SN media is a multilayer construction combining an inorganic depth-loading synthetic with a polymer-based carrier layer that stabilizes the pleats during forming, producing well-formed V-pleat geometry for even particle loading and low obstruction to airflow. The media is hydrophobic and will not swell when saturated from prolonged high humidity, mist, or fog, and the cartridge uses a positive sealing gasket to remove any risk of air bypass.
