AAF DuraShield SN is a high-efficiency synthetic cartridge filter engineered to protect gas turbines with sustained F9 (MERV 15) initial efficiency. It is supplied as a single standalone large-diameter cylindrical element, Ø405mm outer diameter (approx. 16″) and 876mm in length (approx. 34.5″), for housing positions that take a single large-diameter cartridge.

The DuraShield SN media is a multilayer construction combining an inorganic depth-loading synthetic with a polymer-based carrier layer that stabilizes the pleats during forming, producing well-formed V-pleat geometry for even particle loading and low obstruction to airflow. The media is hydrophobic and will not swell when saturated from prolonged high humidity, mist, or fog, and the cartridge uses a positive sealing gasket to remove any risk of air bypass.
