Fanox SIL-G — Feeder & Generator Protection Relay for Primary Distribution
The SIL-G is Fanox's premium relay for primary distribution feeders and generator protection. It combines current and voltage functions (including directional, frequency, and ROCOF) with Arc Flash Detection and an optional self-powered mode through VTs, eliminating the need for external auxiliary supply in many installations.

- Self-powered via VTs, or auxiliary supply: 24–220 Vdc/48–230 Vac, 48–230 Vdc/ac, or 24–48 Vdc (model-dependent)
- Measures up to 1,000 V when connected directly to LV line
- Arc Flash Detection: 4 AFD inputs + 4 high-speed outputs (model-dependent)
- WiFi connectivity for safe wireless access during maintenance
- Protection against Loss of Main (islanding) via voltage, frequency, and ROCOF
- Generator protection: decoupling, load shedding, loss-of-main detection
- Suitable for cogeneration: gas/steam/hydraulic turbine, diesel generators
- Communications: IEC61850, Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3.0, IEC60870-5-103/104 + SNTP + Web Server
