Fanox C21 — Basic Motor Protection Relay

The Fanox C21 extends the proven C Series protection platform to cover 3-phase motors in the 2.2–7.5 kW (3–10 hp) range. With an adjustable current setting of 5–17.7A, the C21 is ideal for mid-range industrial motors in pumping stations, HVAC systems, compressor rooms, and conveyor applications.

Key Protection Functions

  • Thermal image memory — precisely models heat accumulation across all operating phases including starts, running overloads, and cool-down periods
  • Phase loss detection at reduced load — unique Fanox algorithm detects single-phasing even when the motor is running below 30% FLA
  • Phase imbalance — trips when voltage/current asymmetry exceeds 40%
  • Phase sequence — prevents damage from reverse rotation
  • Trip class selection — Class 10, 20, 30 per IEC 947-4-1
