Fanox C45 — Basic Motor Protection Relay

The Fanox C45 completes the C Series lineup, covering 3-phase motors in the 5.5–9 kW (7.5–12 hp) range with an adjustable current setting of 9–21.6A. Purpose-built for industrial motor applications in the mid-power range, the C45 delivers the same Fanox-proven thermal image precision that protects motors against overheating, phase failure, and imbalance.

Key Protection Functions

  • Thermal image memory — models the real thermal state of the motor winding across start cycles, load variations, and cooling periods
  • Phase loss detection at reduced load — trips on phase loss even when motor is lightly loaded, where bimetallic relays would not respond
  • Phase imbalance and sequence protection
  • Trip class selection — Class 10, 20, 30 per IEC 947-4-1
