GL16_MOTOR_PROTECTION_RELAY
Fanox GL16 integral motor protection relay for 3-phase motors up to 9.3A. Full protection suite: overload, phase loss, phase imbalance, underload, earth leakage, overtemperature. RS-485 Modbus. 24V / 48V / 115V / 230V.
Fanox GL16 — Integral Motor Protection Relay
The Fanox GL16 is the entry point to Fanox's advanced GL Series — a comprehensive motor protection platform that integrates protection, control, monitoring, and communication in a single DIN rail device. Where the C Series provides essential protection, the GL Series provides integral protection against every major failure mode of a 3-phase motor.
Complete Protection in One Device
- Overload + thermal image memory — same precise thermal simulation as C Series
- Phase loss detection at reduced load
- Phase imbalance and sequence protection
- Underload / dry running detection — by undercurrent (I<): critical for pumps, compressors, and fans that can be damaged when running without fluid or load
- Earth leakage protection — detects current flowing to ground before insulation failure causes motor damage or safety hazard
- Overtemperature protection — via external PTC thermistor input (sensor sold separately)
Monitoring & Communication
- Real-time current measurement display
- RS-485 Modbus RTU communication — enables remote monitoring and SCADA integration
- Trip cause indication and logging
